The house that was portrayed as the home of Al Pacino‘s Michael Corleone in The Godfather is now for sale in an affluent Staten Island, New York, neighborhood for $1.37 million. The four-bedroom Tudor home at 120 Longfellow Avenue still has the arched door, stained glass, gate, stone around the entry, and even address plate as seen in the classic 1972 film.
It’s been owned since 1977 by Peter and Elaine Albert, who paid $195,000 for it and raised three children there, and are now in their 70s. Elaine told the New York Post that the movie had nothing to do with why they bought the house, and that she has actually only seen The Godfather a couple of times. She said of the home, “It was peaceful. . . . It was nothing like the movie.”
