If you’ve purchased 80% lean beef from Aldi with July 10th as it’s use or freeze by date, return it ASAP! Aldi has issued a recall on this beef in the wake of the massive recall of beef that originated Cargill Meat Solutions in Fort Morgan, Colorado. The E. coli outbreak that was the catalyst of this recall has so far killed one person and sickened 17 more.
Beef produced there has been distributed to several states including Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin. Aldi isn’t taking any chances and highly advises buyers to return the beef for a full refund. You’ve been warned!
