Page Six has reported that a new miniseries on the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, is on the way. According to the publication, sources said that the project will be an adaptation of the 2011 novel, My Friend Michael: An Ordinary Friendship With an Extraordinary Man, by Jackson’s friend and colleague Frank Cascio. Cascio is seeking a director for the series and has pitched to companies including Roc Nation’s new TV division.
The source also said, “The series will focus on the 25-year relationship between Cascio and Jackson, and is expected to go into production this fall.”
